Low Cost Solar Control Glazing

There are more solar control options for glazed roofs available than ever before. We can still supply heatguard and solar inserted polycarbonate to reduce the solar gain by 50% and 80% respectively.

However we now have athermic products to add to our portfolio.
Blue Athermic on opal is an attractive pale blue on the outside and opal on the inside. It will reflect 50% of solar heat but lets more light through giving a bright and airy feel to your conservatory. More more information see http://tinyurl.com/2vpfqvz

If you are on a tight budget we can offer gold athermic on opal at less than half price. This is a golden yellow on opal which again will reflect 50% of heat. This is an end of line hence the huge reduction. For more infomation see http://tinyurl.com/36on88c

If you would like advice on what is most suitable for your project please call the office on 01769 574426.

We have a north facing garden. We inted to use the consevervatory all year as a extension to our limited space. We prefer glass roof as you can see the skies. But does a glass roof(double glazed) retain heat in the winter. In the summer i guess a roof vent and fan would do the trick

If you choose high quality double glazed units-argon filled with low E and activ aqua coating you will have a U value of 1.2 W/m2K. Therefore you will benefit from the high levels of light transmission and still have a reasonable insulation value.
